The MSD7342 series consists of shielded coupled inductors with tight coupling (k ≥ 0.97) and 200 Vrms winding-to-winding isolation, designed for flyback, SEPIC, buck, and Zeta converter topologies. The part is surface-mounted in a compact package measuring 7.5 mm × 7.5 mm × 4.6 mm, with an industry-standard footprint. It operates from -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature, with a maximum part temperature of +125°C, and meets AEC-Q200 Grade 3 requirements. The MSD7342-223MLC variant has an inductance of 22 µH per winding, a DC resistance of 0.220 Ω, a saturation current of 1.9 A at 10% drop, and an RMS current rating of 1.19 A with one winding energized. Termination is RoHS-compliant matte tin over nickel over phosphor bronze. The inductor is supplied on 7" or 13" reels and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1.
