The MSD1278T series consists of shielded coupled inductors designed for high-temperature applications up to 125°C ambient, with a winding-to-winding isolation of 500 Vrms and coupling coefficient of at least 0.98. The part is housed in a surface-mount package measuring 12.3 mm by 12.3 mm, with a recommended land pattern of 5.0 mm by 5.5 mm. It supports a maximum part temperature of +165°C and is rated for ambient temperatures from -40°C to +125°C. The series features a ferrite core, RoHS-compliant matte tin terminations, and complies with AEC-Q200 Grade 1. It is packaged in 13-inch reels of 500 units with embossed plastic tape. Moisture sensitivity level is MSL 1, and it withstands three reflow cycles at 260°C.
