The MSD1278T series comprises shielded coupled inductors for high-temperature applications up to 125°C ambient, with 500 Vrms winding isolation and coupling coefficient ≥0.98. Installed in a 12.3 mm × 12.3 mm × 7.8 mm surface-mount package, the parts meet AEC-Q200 Grade 1 and support three reflows at +260°C. The MSD1278T-153ML variant provides 15 µH per winding with ±20% tolerance, 0.072 ohms DCR, 7.40 A saturation current at 10% inductance drop, and 3.25 A RMS current rating for both windings. Packaging is 500 units per 13-inch reel.
Coilcraft's MSD1278T Series of 1:1 high-temperature coupled power inductors are used in Flyback, SEPIC, Ćuk, Zeta and other applications. The MSD_T family features magnetic shielding for compact packaging and tight winding-to-winding coupling.
