CODESYS SoftMotion Axes (4) extends CODESYS Control SL systems to support motion control with up to four real axes and four virtual axes. It is licensed for use with CODESYS Control Standard S and requires CODESYS Development System V3.5.19.10 or higher and CODESYS Control Runtime V3.5.19.0 or higher. The license is activated on a software-based container or a CODESYS Key USB dongle and supports EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, and virtual drives. It includes a library of certified PLCopen MotionControl function blocks for positioning, homing, velocity control, electronic cams, and torque supervision, along with visualization templates and a cam editor supporting line, polynomial, and sine segment types. System requirements include a real-time capable platform with FPU and WIBU Codemeter support.
CODESYS SoftMotion Axes extends the functional range of CODESYS Control SL systems from pure logic to motion control with optional support for CNC and robotics. This license is application-based and requires at least the application-based license CODESYS Control Standard S for the PLC. With this license, up to 4 real axes, and additionally 4 virtual axes, can be controlled. The CODESYS SoftMotion package can be downloaded with the CODESYS Installer.
