The PSA0218R/1142 is a directional ultra wideband spiral antenna designed for electronic warfare applications and direction finding arrays. It operates within a frequency range of 2.00 to 18.00 GHz, with a minimum gain of 0 dBiC from 3 to 18 GHz and -2 dBiC from 2 to 3 GHz. The antenna features a right-hand circular polarization and has an approximate beamwidth of 75¬8 in both azimuth and elevation. The axial ratio is specified as a maximum of 2 dB for the 3-18 GHz range and 10 dB for the 2-3 GHz range. The voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is capped at 2.5:1, and the power rating is 5 W. The antenna has a front-to-back ratio of at least 25 dB. Mechanically, it weighs 70 grams and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40¬8C to +85¬8C. The standard finish includes an Alocrom 1200 housing with a grey radome. This antenna is suitable for various applications, including security and surveillance, unmanned vehicles, and telemetry systems.
