The A2 series is a family of automotive relays with a SPST normally closed contact form, capable of switching up to 40A at 14VDC resistive loads and 75VDC maximum voltage. The A2M variant includes a metal bracket for mounting and supports PCB pin termination. The relay operates on a 6VDC coil with 1.6W power consumption and includes a diode suppressor. It has a contact resistance of less than 30 milliohms and is sealed for environmental protection. The device measures 26.0 x 26.0 x 24.5 mm and weighs 31g. It is rated for operation from -40°C to +125°C, meets QS-9000 and ISO-9002 standards, and has an electrical life of 100,000 cycles at rated load. The diode suppressor is configured with the cathode on terminal 86.
