BC461 is a NPN bipolar junction transistor for amplification and switching applications, housed in a TO-39 case. It has a collector-base voltage rating of 70 V, a collector-emitter voltage rating of 60 V, and an emitter-base voltage rating of 5.0 V. The maximum continuous collector current is 500 mA, and the minimum current gain (hFE) is 250 at a collector current of 40 mA and collector-emitter voltage of 1.0 V.
