The 2N6044 is an NPN silicon power Darlington transistor in a TO-220 package, with a collector-emitter voltage rating of 80 V, a continuous collector current of 8.0 A, and a power dissipation of 75 W. The thermal resistance from junction to case is 1.67 °C/W. The package measures 14.23 to 15.87 mm in length, 10.01 to 10.60 mm in width, and 5.85 to 6.85 mm in height. The device is available with Pb-free plating. The TO-220 lead configuration has the base, collector, and emitter pins as defined by the mechanical outline. Devices are bulk packed in quantities of 500 per box.
