A modular approach to automatic screwdriver applications designed to seamlessly integrate into low-payload robotic arm assemblies, and is equipped with a magnetic finder that captures the screw and advances it passed the front of the jaws to the customer product. The magnetic finder can stroke up to 100mm past the front of the jaws. This makes it ideal for for applications were there is very little clearance around the screws install location. It is intended to be used on a 2 or more axis robot or other type of positioning automation.
Carlson Engineering automated screw driving machines are designed to work with a screwfeeder or step feeder, and assist in your assembly automation fastening process by advancing the screw or screws to your product, stopping above it, and then advancing the bit driving the screw or screws to torque or depth. Carlson automatic feed screwdriver systems can be fitted with almost any brand of screwdriver on the market today.
As a Type 6 Drive Head, this drive head is fully-equipped with a magnetic bit extend option, and can be configured as either a single-stage or a dual-stage drive head.
Designed with smaller applications in mind, the MiniMod Type 6 Magnetic Bit Extend Drive Head is able to seamlessly integrate into low-payload robotic arm assemblies.
The MiniMod Type 6 Magnetic Bit Extend Drive Head is intended for use with a blow-feed automatic screwfeeder and can also be configured to drive bolts, pins, rivets, set-screws, and more.
