Color Sensor Color Sensor Capella's Color Sensor (RGB sensor, RGBS) is an integrated RGB light sensing solution that can report both ambient Lux and Color Temperature. It incorporates photodiodes, amplifiers and analog/digital circuits into a single chip by a CMOS process. Adoption of Capella’s patented Filtron™ technology provides accurate light sensing for each channel. The RGBS offers excellent temperature compensation keeping the output stable over temperature. The robust refresh rate setting does not require an external RC low pass filter. It provides various output interface solutions with linear response over the entire lux range and high sensitivity in low light conditions and under dark glass.
