The round shielded jacket makes the cable more flexible while, when tied to a ground, the shield can keep out unwanted electrical noise. Maximum length could be stretched a little with this as opposed to the flat ribbon cable. Wire Gage and Stranding:28 AWG (7x36) The connectors typically used on this wire are ID34F and/or CE34F.
