8P8C Shielded Category 5 Liner Plug For Round, Solid. Modular Plugs: A complete variety of UL Recognized modular plugs are available. All plugs have 15 micro inches* of gold plating on the contacts which meet the standard applications for voice and data. Flat satin stranded, round stranded, and round solid cables are accommodated. Keyed, MMJ, DEC types, shielded and category 5 versions are available. Flat modular cable types accept 24-28 AWG, stranded. Round cable types accept 24-26 AWG, stranded or solid.
