The NL2 "Classmate" is a ruggedized convertible netbook that is a new, fun tool for school. It is drop-tested and has a water-resistant keyboard, featuring reinforced corners, shock mounted hard drive, a protective rubberized surface, a scratch and water resistant screen, spill resistant keyboard and touchpad, and a retractable carrying handle.
The Classmate comes preloaded with classroom collaboration software, access management, and monitoring software, and creative software to be used with the Classmate's stylus and webcam.
