Direct-Coupled Door Operator By removing the typical linkage most doors exhibit between the door and operator and replacing it with a high-torque coupling, fitted between the output shaft and a modified Upper CPH Pivot, brookfield industries offers a completely concealed system that will rotate a door 180 degrees at a constant angular velocity throughout the cycle. The Upper CPH Pivot features a modified hinge pin serving 2 functions: 1) acts as a drive shaft to transmit torque between the operator and the door, 2) acts a hinge pin to transfer radial load between the door and frame. The Lower CPH Pivot is a standard version (also concealed), supports the full door weight and a share of the radial load.
