The BCM1122A4KEBG is a high-performance System on Chip (SoC) featuring a 400-MHz MIPS64 CPU with a quad-issue in-order pipeline, dual execute, and dual memory pipes. It includes a 32-KB instruction cache and a 32-KB data cache, along with advanced branch predictors. The SoC is equipped with a 128-KB shared L2 cache that is ECC protected and can be configured for fast on-chip RAM. It supports a DDR memory controller with a 64-bit data bus and is compatible with various memory types including DDR SDRAM and SGRAM. The BCM1122A4KEBG offers high-speed packet interfaces, including one 10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC and one 10/100 Ethernet MAC, compliant with 802.3 standards. It features a 32-bit PCI interface and a generic I/O for direct connections to boot ROMs and peripherals. The device is designed for low power consumption at 4W and provides extensive on-chip debugging capabilities.
