The APDS-9007 series, from Avago Technologies, are a family of SMD ambient light photo sensors. These analogue current output devices come in chip LED packages. Suitable applications for the APDS-9006 include, electronic signs/signals, automatic lighting management and display back lighting control for devices such as mobile phones, notebooks, TVs and digital cameras.
