An industry standard 62.5 mm Simplex glass fiber inner core, with an Acrylate fiber coating, a 900 µm diameter elastomeric buffered optical fiber, a Kevlar covering for strength, and a flame retardant black PU jacket overall. This fiber optic retractile cord is designed for long-life extension/retraction applications. We put this cable on slightly oversized mandrels to achieve longer (11 to 1) extension/retraction ratios. A 10" retracted cord will extend to almost 10ft., a 16" cord to approximately 16ft., and our 23" retracted cord will extend to over 22ft., with 6" straight ends cut blunt for custom termination's. OPER.TEMP.: -55°C to +85°C. Insertion loss is less then 1 DB per cord.
