MultiCut™ oils are chlorine-free cutting oils, designed to reduce waste and disposal costs. Formulated with special additives to form a protective film at metal-to-tool interface, they permit higher turning speeds, faster feed of materials and higher load-carrying capabilities. MultiCut™ oils improve tool life through anti-wear, anti-weld and corrosion resistance properties that control build up at the edge of tools and improve surface finish to reduce friction. MultiCut™ minimizes welding, scoring and galling. MultiCut™ LDX is ideal for light-duty nonferrous metals (copper, nickel, and aluminum), difficult-to-machine nonferrous alloys, ferrous metals with machinability >70% and automatic screw machines where fluid serves as machine lube and cutting oil. MultiCut™ GDX is a moderate-duty cutting fluid for ferrous metals with machinability ratings of 50-70%. MultiCut™ HDX is formulated for severe metalworking operations with machinability ratings below 50%.
