Bonitron’s M3460B Battery Ride-Thru Voltage Regulator, in conjunction with a back-up battery bank, provides protection from AC line voltage sags and/or power outages for variable frequency drives (VFDs) that use a fixed rectifier and DC bus. The M3460B provides protection for up to 4 minutes at full power rating or 15 minutes at 50% power rating during a 100% power outage. Industries with continuous processes can suffer huge losses from equipment downtime, loss of production, or damaged product when VFDs trip on under-voltage conditions.
