NXP Semiconductors Interface - I/O Expanders PCA9535HFHP

The PCA9535HFHP is a 16-bit I¬=C-bus and SMBus low power I/O port designed for GPIO expansion in various applications. It operates within a power supply voltage range of 2.3 V to 5.5 V and features 5 V tolerant I/O pins. The device includes two 8-bit configuration registers for input or output selection, as well as input, output, and polarity inversion registers. It supports a clock frequency of up to 400 kHz and has an active LOW interrupt output that signals changes in input states. This I/O expander allows for the connection of up to eight devices on the same I¬=C-bus/SMBus, thanks to its configurable address pins. The PCA9535HFHP is available in a HWQFN24 package, which is a thermal enhanced very thin quad flat package with no leads. It is suitable for applications requiring additional I/O for components such as sensors, LEDs, and switches, while maintaining low standby current and robust ESD protection.
