The SCIENCO® Brinemaker comes in two sizes, the FG Series and the P-2 Model. Both units use downflow brinemaking. Downflow brinemaking assures consistent saturation of brine as the influent water rises and the higher density brine sinks. With rock and solar salts, sludge accumulates at the bottom of the tank for easy removal. In addition, this permits the desalinization of sludge by backwash leaching. Because of these advantages, all of the SCIENCO® Brinemakers employ downflow brinemaking.
