Resistance Range: 0.20% to 1.0% System designers' desire for weight and volume savings has created increased demand for potentiometers that perform multiple functions. The concentric shaft unit - having two independent shafts that each control different sections of the potentiometer - is an ideal solution. These are available in single-turn and multi-turn combinations, as potentiometer-and-sw itch units, and in other rotary component combinations. Single- and multi-turn concentric shaft potentiometers are available in 1/2", 5/8", 7/8" and 1-1/16" diameter housings, with or without switches, with controlled shaft torques for cockpit controls, and with high stop strength (15 in.-lbs.) mechanical stops.
