eB Insight SharePoint Connection Services is the bridge between SharePoint and eB Insight. The image below shows eB Insight data viewed within SharePoint. It demonstrates how views of information can be customized for the user. Information assets can reside across multiple disparate information silos, even across multiple organizations, and be visible in eB Insight – whether through the SharePoint UI or eB Insight – to those users authorized to view and/or change it. Information sharing features within eB Insight are supported by its highly granular security model. All users, including project participants across multiple enterprises (suppliers, contractors, consultants, etc.), can be given secure access to information on a role-based, need-to-know basis.
