The GUXTC16 is a universal tight buffered optical fiber cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features 16 multimode OM5 fibers and is constructed with glass yarns for added strength and improved rodent protection. The cable is encased in a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, which is flame retardant and suitable for environments where smoke emission is a concern. This cable is compliant with CPR Euroclass Dca, making it suitable for structured wiring systems in various settings, including industrial, telecom, and broadcast networks. It supports all computer network applications such as FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM, although it is not suitable for blown installation. The GUXTC16 has a maximum attenuation of 2.9 dB/km at 850 nm and 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm. It can withstand a minimum bend radius of 200 mm during installation and 100 mm during operation. The cable's tensile strength is rated at 2600 N for short-term installation and 870 N for long-term operation. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C and is designed to be water-tight and resistant to UV exposure.
