The GUXTB208 is a universal tight buffered optical fiber cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features eight multimode OM2 fibers and is constructed with glass yarns for added strength and improved rodent protection. The cable is encased in a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, which is flame retardant and compliant with CPR Euroclass B2ca standards. This cable is suitable for structured wiring systems, including industrial and campus backbones, as well as horizontal cabling for telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It supports various computer network applications such as FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM. The cable is not intended for blown installation. The GUXTB208 has a maximum attenuation of 2.9 dB/km at 850 nm and 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm. It is designed to withstand a temperature range of -30 ¬8C to +55 ¬8C for operation and -5 ¬8C to +50 ¬8C during installation. The cable's construction includes water-tight features and is resistant to UV exposure. It has a minimum bend radius of 146 mm for short-term installation and 73 mm for long-term operation, with a maximum tensile strength of 1600 N during installation and 530 N during operation.
