The GUFN124 is a Universal Optical Fiber Central Loose Tube cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a jelly-filled tube construction with a diameter of 3.3mm, containing 24 multimode OM1 fibers. The cable is equipped with Fiber Reinforced Plastic armor, providing enhanced rodent protection, and is covered with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket, which is flame retardant and compliant with CPR Euroclass Eca. This cable is suitable for structured wiring systems in various environments, including industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It can be installed in ducts, tunnels, trenches, and is also suitable for direct burial. The cable has a maximum attenuation of 3.4 dB/km at 850 nm and 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm, ensuring reliable signal transmission. The GUFN124 is designed to withstand a wide temperature range, operating between -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C, and has specific mechanical properties, including a minimum bend radius of 148 mm and tensile strength ratings of 6000 N for short-term installation and 2000 N for long-term operation. It is also water-blocked and features a single jacket construction for added durability.
