The GOSN812 is an outdoor optical fiber cable designed with a Central Loose Tube construction, featuring a jelly-filled tube for moisture protection. It incorporates glass yarns for rodent protection and has a polyethylene outer jacket. The cable consists of a single tube with a diameter of 3.3mm, containing 12 single-mode fibers compliant with ITU-T standards G.652.D and G.657.A1. This cable is suitable for various outdoor applications, including structured wiring systems for industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, trenches, and can be directly buried. The cable has a maximum tensile strength of 1500 N for short-term installation and 500 N for long-term operation, with a minimum bend radius of 116 mm during installation and 58 mm during operation. The optical characteristics include a maximum attenuation of 0.24 dB/km at 1550 nm and 0.29 dB/km at 1625 nm. The operating temperature range is from -30 °C to +70 °C, making it suitable for a variety of environmental conditions.
