The GOFN112 is an outdoor optical fiber cable designed with a Central Loose Tube construction, featuring a jelly-filled tube for enhanced water resistance. It incorporates Fiber Reinforced Plastic armor, providing full rodent protection, and is encased in a polyethylene outer jacket. The cable consists of a single tube with a diameter of 3.3mm, containing 12 multimode OM1 fibers. This cable is suitable for various outdoor applications, including structured wiring systems for industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, trenches, and can be directly buried. The cable is water-tight and features water-blocking tape for additional protection. Mechanical specifications include a minimum bend radius of 148 mm for both installation and operation, with a maximum tensile strength of 6000 N during installation and 2000 N during operation. The cable can withstand crush resistance of 22 kN/m in short-term scenarios and 11 kN/m in long-term use.
