The GOCN116 is an outdoor optical fiber cable designed with a Central Loose Tube construction, featuring a jelly-filled tube for enhanced protection. It incorporates glass yarns as strength members and is armored with Corrugated Steel Tape, providing full rodent protection. The cable has a single tube with a diameter of 3.3mm and contains 16 fibers of multimode OM1 type. This cable is suitable for various outdoor applications, including structured wiring systems for industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, trenches, and can be directly buried. The cable is water-tight and features waterblocking capabilities through glass yarns and tape. In terms of mechanical characteristics, the cable can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 2400 N during installation and 800 N during operation. It has a minimum bend radius of 180 mm for both short-term and long-term use. The operating temperature range is from -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C, with installation temperatures between -5 ¬8C and +50 ¬8C.
