The GNRT702 is an outdoor tactical tight buffered optical fiber cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a loose jacket made of aramid yarns and incorporates glass yarns for added strength and improved rodent protection. The cable consists of two single-mode fibers compliant with G.655.C and G.655.D standards. This cable is suitable for structured wiring systems, including industrial backbone, campus backbone, and horizontal cabling, supporting various computer network applications such as FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM. It is not intended for blown installation. The cable has a water-tight core with waterblocking capabilities provided by aramid and glass yarns. The outer jacket is made of polyurethane (PUR) and has a nominal diameter of 8.8 mm, with a standard color of black. The cable can operate in temperatures ranging from -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C and has a minimum bend radius of 70.4 mm for installation and 35.2 mm for operation. It meets various standards, including IEC 60794 and RoHS compliance, and offers UV protection. The maximum attenuation is 0.31 dB/km at 1550 nm and 0.51 dB/km at 1625 nm.
