The GIPTIA1 is an indoor tight buffered patchcord featuring a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket with a nominal diameter of 1.6mm. It is designed as a simplex single-mode (SM) fiber cable compliant with the G.657.B3 standard and rated Euroclass Eca for fire performance. This patchcord is suitable for flexible terminating leads, including pigtails, patchcords, and test leads, and supports various computer network applications such as FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM. It is intended for short-distance indoor use. The optical characteristics include a maximum attenuation of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm. The cable is water-tight and has a minimum bend radius of 60 mm for long-term operation. It can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 150 N during installation and 50 N during long-term operation. Operating temperature ranges from -40 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C, while installation temperatures can be between -15 ¬8C and +50 ¬8C.
