The GIPSIER is an indoor semi-tight buffered patchcord featuring a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket with a nominal diameter of 2.8mm. It is designed for duplex single-mode (SM) applications compliant with the G.657.B3 standard. This patchcord is suitable for flexible terminating leads such as pigtails, patchcords, and test leads, and supports various computer network applications including FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM for short-distance indoor use. The patchcord consists of two fibers with TIA color coding (blue and orange) and has a water-tight cable core. It exhibits maximum attenuation rates of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm. The cable is rated for a minimum bend radius of 60 mm and can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 300 N during installation and 100 N during long-term operation. It operates within a temperature range of -40 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C and is compliant with various standards including IEC 60794 and ISO/IEC 11801-1.
