The GCYHF72 is a Universal Optical Fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a dry core construction with six tubes, each measuring 1.9mm in diameter, containing a total of 72 single-mode fibers compliant with G.657.A2 specifications. The cable is reinforced with glass yarns as strength members and is protected by corrugated steel tape for enhanced rodent resistance. The inner and outer jackets are made from Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) material, which is flame retardant and minimizes smoke emission in case of fire. This cable is suitable for structured wiring systems in various environments, including industrial, telecom, and broadcast applications. It can be installed in ducts, tunnels, and trenches, and is rated for direct burial. In terms of performance, the cable exhibits maximum attenuation rates of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm. It has a minimum bend radius of 304 mm for both installation and operation, and can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 3900 N during installation and 1300 N during operation.
