The GCLIE96 is a Universal Optical Fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a dry core construction with eight tubes, each measuring 1.9mm in diameter, containing a total of 96 multimode OM4 fibers arranged in a configuration of 8 tubes with 12 fibers each. The cable is reinforced with aramid yarns for strength and includes a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) inner jacket, providing flame retardant properties. This cable is equipped with a polyamide layer for termite protection and a Corrugated Steel Tape armor for enhanced rodent protection. It is suitable for structured wiring systems in various environments, including industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. The cable's water-tight design incorporates waterblocking glass yarns and tape, making it suitable for installation in ducts, tunnels, and tubes. Optical performance specifications include a maximum attenuation of 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm and 2.9 dB/km at 850 nm.
