The GCCI156 is a Universal Optical Fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a dry core construction with glass yarns as strength members and is protected by a Corrugated Steel Tape armor, providing enhanced rodent protection. The cable consists of 8 tubes, each with a diameter of 1.9mm, containing a total of 56 multimode OM1 fibers arranged in a 7-tube by 8-fiber configuration. This cable is suitable for structured wiring systems in various environments, including industrial backbones, campus networks, and horizontal cabling. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, and direct burial applications. The outer jacket is made from Low Smoke Zero Halogen material, ensuring reduced smoke emissions in case of fire. The optical characteristics include a maximum attenuation of 3.4 dB/km at 850 nm and 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm. The cable can withstand a temperature range from -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C for operation and -5 ¬8C to +50 ¬8C during installation.
