The GCCF840 is a Universal Optical Fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a dry core construction with glass yarns providing strength, and is protected by a Corrugated Steel Tape armor, enhancing rodent resistance. The cable consists of 12 tubes, each with a diameter of 2.5mm, accommodating a total of 240 fibers, specifically single-mode fibers compliant with ITU-T standards G.652.D and G.657.A1. This cable is suitable for structured wiring systems in various environments, including industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, and tubes. The outer jacket is made from Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) material, which is flame retardant and minimizes smoke emission in case of fire. The cable has a maximum attenuation of 0.24 dB/km at 1550 nm and 0.29 dB/km at 1625 nm. It can withstand a temperature range of -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C for operation and storage, and has a minimum bend radius of 370 mm for both installation and operation. The cable is also water-blocked, ensuring protection against moisture ingress.
