The GBNIF84 is an outdoor dry core optical fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for various structured wiring applications. It features a construction of aramid yarns for strength, a polyethylene outer jacket, and a polyamide layer for termite protection. The cable consists of 8 tubes, each with a diameter of 1.9mm, containing a total of 84 fibers (7 tubes with 12 fibers each) compliant with the SM OS2 G.657.A2 standard. This cable is suitable for outdoor use in industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, trenches, and is suitable for direct burial. The cable has a maximum attenuation of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm. It can withstand a minimum bend radius of 230 mm during installation and 172.5 mm during operation, with a maximum tensile strength of 2700 N for short-term installation and 900 N for long-term operation. The operating temperature range is from -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C, and it is compliant with various standards including IEC 60794 and RoHS. The cable is also UV resistant, making it suitable for outdoor environments.
