The GBGIE96 is an outdoor optical fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for various structured wiring applications. It features a construction of 8 tubes, each with a diameter of 1.9mm, containing a total of 96 multimode OM4 fibers arranged in a configuration of 8 tubes with 12 fibers each. The cable incorporates glass yarns for rodent protection and a polyamide layer for termite protection, enhancing its durability in outdoor environments. This cable is suitable for installation in industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks, and is designed for direct burial. It has a water-tight core and is equipped with water-blocking glass yarns and tape. The cable's outer jacket is made of black polyethylene, providing UV protection and ensuring resilience against environmental factors. In terms of performance, the GBGIE96 has a maximum attenuation of 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm and 2.9 dB/km at 850 nm.
