The GBCF216 is an outdoor optical fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for robust applications. It features a dry core construction with glass yarns providing strength, and is protected by a Corrugated Steel Tape armor, enhancing its resistance to rodent damage. The cable consists of 12 tubes, each with a diameter of 2.5mm, housing a total of 216 fibers arranged in a configuration of 9 tubes with 24 fibers each, compliant with OM2 specifications. This cable is suitable for outdoor use in structured wiring systems, including industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in various environments such as ducts, tunnels, and direct burial applications. The cable is water-tight, utilizing waterblocking glass yarns and tape, and has a polyethylene outer jacket that provides UV protection.
