The GBCE892 is an outdoor dry core optical fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for robust applications. It features a construction of glass yarns as strength members, a Corrugated Steel Tape armor for enhanced rodent protection, and a polyethylene outer jacket. The cable consists of 8 tubes, each with a diameter of 2.5mm, accommodating a total of 192 fibers, specifically SM OS2 G.652.D and G.657.A1. This cable is suitable for outdoor use in structured wiring systems, including industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, trenches, and is suitable for direct burial. The cable is water-tight, utilizing waterblocking aramid yarns and tape, and has a bulk weight of 230 kg/km. Optical performance includes a maximum attenuation of 0.24 dB/km at 1550 nm and 0.29 dB/km at 1625 nm.
