The GBAHI40 is an outdoor optical fiber cable designed with a multi loose tube construction, featuring six tubes with a diameter of 1.9mm, accommodating a total of 40 single-mode fibers (5 tubes with 8 fibers each) compliant with G.657.B3 standards. The cable utilizes aramid yarns for strength and is encased in a polyethylene outer jacket, providing durability and protection against environmental factors. This cable is suitable for various outdoor applications, including structured wiring systems for industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It is designed for easy installation in ducts, tunnels, and trenches, and is also suitable for direct burial. The cable's water-tight construction includes waterblocking aramid yarns and tape, ensuring reliable performance in wet conditions. Optical performance is characterized by a maximum attenuation of 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm wavelengths. The cable can withstand a minimum bend radius of 190 mm during installation and 142.5 mm during operation, with a maximum tensile strength of 2850 N for short-term installation and 950 N for long-term operation. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C and complies with relevant standards, including IEC 60794 and RoHS 2.
