The GAAG818 is an outdoor dry core (ADSS) optical fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for self-supporting applications. It features a construction of aramid yarns as strength members and a polyethylene outer jacket, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental factors. The cable consists of six tubes, each with a diameter of 1.9mm, containing a total of 18 single-mode fibers compliant with ITU-T standards G.652.D and G.657.A1. This cable is suitable for outdoor installations, particularly between poles with a maximum span of 150 meters. It has a low initial sag of 1% at 20¬8C and is designed to withstand a range of temperatures from -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C. The cable's optical characteristics include maximum attenuation rates of 0.39 dB/km at 1310 nm, 0.24 dB/km at 1550 nm, and 0.29 dB/km at 1625 nm. The GAAG818 also meets various mechanical standards, with a minimum bend radius of 206 mm for both installation and operation, and tensile strength ratings of 2550 N for short-term installation and 850 N for long-term operation. The cable is water-blocked and features UV protection, making it suitable for various outdoor applications.
