The heat shrink technology HST is used to connect a cold lead to a heating cable or connect two heating cables to each other and is suitable for EKL light und EKL medium in the non-ex area for industrial applications. The electrical connection of the heating conductor and protective braid is established by means of a crimp connection. The connection is sealed by heat shrinkable tubes.
