The ATLANTA Drive Systems bevel gear with part number 40 45 116 features a gear ratio of 4.5:1 and is constructed from heat-treatable steel Cf 53, material no. 1.1213, which has a strength of 650-800 N/mm¬=. This gear is designed for applications requiring durability and can be further processed through flame or induction hardening to enhance its strength. The gear has a one-sided hub and is suitable for a 90¬8 shaft angle. It is important to note that the bevel gear sets are corrected for maximum loading capacity in accordance with Gleason guidelines, making them reliable for various engineering applications.
Atlanta standard bevel gears are made of heat-treatable steel Cf 53, material no. 1.1213, having a strength of 650- 800 N/mm². For heavy-duty application our bevel gears may be subsequently fame or induction hardened. The following calculations therefore always refer to hardened as well as non-hardened gears. For fame or induction hardening the relevant regulations are to be observed.
Please note that our bevel-gear sets have been corrected for a maximum loading capacity in accordance with the guidelines specifed by Gleason. for years we have manufactured bevel gears of many different sizes and materials such as 16 Mn Cr 5, 15 CrNi 6, 50 Cr V 4, etc.
