ASTM International Standard Temperature-Electromotive Force (EMF) Tables for Tungsten-Rhenium Thermocouples ASTM E988-96

Description
1.1 This standard consists of reference tables that give temperature-electrom otive force (emf) relationships for 97% Tungsten 3% Rhenium versus 75% Tungsten 25% Rhenium and 95% Tungsten 5% Rhenium versus 74% Tungsten 26% Rhenium thermocouples. These are the refractory metal thermocouple types most commonly used in industry. 1.2 Also included is a list (Table 1) of initial calibration tolerances for the thermocouple types referred to in 1.1, and their respective compensating extension wires (Table 2). 1.3 These data are intended for industrial and laboratory use.
