1.1 This practice covers the necessary information to qualify dispersive infrared instruments for specific analytical applications, and especially for methods developed by ASTM International. 1.2 This practice is not to be used as a rigorous test of performance of instrumentation. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
