ASTM International Standard Test Method for Evaluating the Tensile-Adhesion Performance of an Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) or EIFS with Drainage ASTM E2134/E2134M-25

1.1 This test method evaluates the tensile-adhesion performance of an Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), EIFS with drainage, or individual components by Procedure A, Dry Conditioning and Testing of Specimens; or, if specified, Procedure B, Wet Conditioning and Testing of Specimens. 1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
