ASTM International Standard Test Method for Measuring Friction and Wear Properties of Greases Under Rolling Motion Using SRV Test Machine ASTM D8317-23

1.1 This test method covers a procedure for determining the coefficient of friction of greases and their ability to protect against wear under a rolling type of motion when subjected to high-frequency, linear oscillation. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
