ASTM International Standard Test Method for Acidity-Alkalinity of Halogenated Organic Solvents and Their Admixtures ASTM D2989-97e1

1.1 This test method covers the determination of acidity in halogenated organic solvents and admixtures thereof. The alkalinity may be determined utilizing Test Method D2106, by substituting the end point measured at pH7 by bromothymol blue or pH meter. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use.
