This specification covers hot- and cold-finished bars and shapes of wrought nickel-iron-chromium
-silicon alloys with UNS Nos. N08330 and N08332 intended for heat-resisting applications and general corrosive service. Materials shall be furnished in the heat-treated condition, except that cold-drawn hexagons may be given a cold-drawn sizing pass subsequent to the final heat treatment. Specimens shall be sampled and prepared, then tested accordingly to examine their conformance to dimensional (thickness, width, length, and angularity), mechanical (tensile and yield strengths, and elongation), chemical composition, and grain size requirements.
